Saudi Arabia Introduces Saudi Cup, “Richest Horse Race On The Planet” ??

“The richest horse race in history “is how Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al Faisal, chairman of the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia, announced the launch of Riyadh’s race season at a Saudi Cup launch event at Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly, London on Sunday

According to HRH, the Saudi Cup details will be unveiled in a ceremony taking place in Riyadh on September, 30

Three races will be run on a new turf course for the first time in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the main contest of the “Saudi Cup” will be held on the dirt track, and this is the race considered to be “the richest horse race in the world” as announced in Saratoga city, USA last month. The Saudi Cup will be staged at the King Abdul-Aziz Racetrack in Janadriyah, Riyadh on 28 February 2020
