Saudis On Social Media Are Speculating What A New Mysterious Disease In India Could Be About
A mysterious illness has sickened hundreds of people in a city in southeastern India and the news has been an area of concern for people all over the world.
Over the weekend, more than 300 people in the state of Andhra Pradesh, were hospitalized with epilepsy-like symptoms
Although coronavirus infection is widespread in the area, all of these patients tested negative for COVID-19. In addition, blood tests performed so far have not found evidence of other viral infections, such as, for example, dengue fever.
One patient with these symptoms died from a cardiac arrest although officials said the death appeared unrelated to the mystery illness. About 180 patients have also been released from the hospital.
And as the news of this disease spread through Saudi social media, people had a lot to say.
