In a heartwarming video circulating social media, a mother from Syria was able to re-unite with her children after 11 years of separation. Due to the war conditions in Syria, she was unable to see her son and daughter for over a decade!

The video itself has gotten all kinds of whole hearted reactions from viewers, as both the mother and children are seen in tears upon their 11-year awaited embrace.

Both the mother and children were visiting Makkah for a the holy month of Ramadan

Muslims from all over the world flock to the Grand Mosque in Makkah and Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, to spend the holy month of Ramadan.  It’s like this spiritual adventure where people get to hit refresh, as thousands gather to make this pilgrimage every year.
