Some students in Dammam were met with a bit of a muddle on Sunday after school buses sank in the middle of massive floods.
Thankfully, the Civil Defence managed to save every student out of the sunken vehicles, by use of floating boats to transfer them.
Prof. Mansour Almazroui, director of the Center of Excellence for Climate Change Research at the Jeddah-based King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) even told Arab Newsthat this month has probably been the wettest in Saudi’s history.

The Civil Defense sent out an announcement warning Saudi residents “to take the highest degree of caution and safety during rainfall and to avoid visiting places prone to flash floods.”
