Avatar

The head of Saudi’s sports authority, Turki al-Sheikh, has publicly apologised for the national team’s performance on Thursday night against Russia at the FIFA World Cup.

Al-Sheikh shared a video to his Twitter, publicly apologising to Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who was present for the game in Russia.

He also slammed the team’s performance at Luzhniki Stadium, saying the team gave ‘less than five percent’.

Saudi’s next game will be on June 20 against Uruguay

Hopefully the team will do better then.
