The World Cup Panel Has Issued An Apology To Saudi For The Plane Malfunction Prior To Today’s Match

The World Cup’s Organising Committee issued an apology to the the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) for the plane malfunction that occurred on Monday. According to Saudi Gazette, a letter was sent to Dr. Adel Ezzat, the chairman of the board of directors of SAFF, apologising for the inconvenience that took place when the Saudi national team flew from Moscow to Rostov.

The FIFA committee said those planes would no longer be used

The planes used to transport the Green Falcons will no longer be used to take them or any other teams participating in the World Cup. The Organising Committee even included a statement from the State Civil Aviation Authority of Russia discussing the situation on Monday.

“The situation did not necessitate an emergency landing”

Russia’s State Civil Aviation added that an emergency landing wasn’t necessary since the aircraft engines ran smoothly at the time. However, further investigations will be made.
