This is basically the place that introduced us Jeddahwis to Filipino cuisine. Though it also offers a lot of Chinese offerings as well, the restaurant is a time-tested place to indulge in East Asian gastronomy.

Jollibee

One of the biggest international food franchises to spring up from the Philippines, Jollibee is found all over the Middle East. The menu is kind of like a McDonalds meets a typical Pinoy fast food restaurant. One dish we strongly recommend is the Chickenjoy meal that is served with white rice and gravy sauce. Yum!

Boracay

A lot of OFWs love the Balad area and this restaurant is located in the heart of Balad. Overall, it is a good place to have traditional favorites and is one of the most recognizable names when it comes to Pinoy cuisine. In fact, the place is loved so much that even weddings take place here.

Barrio Fiesta

The name sounds like a celebration and the food here really is celebratory. If you haven’t ever tried Pinoy fare this can be a good place to start.
