This Is What The Crown Prince Was Served In Lunch During His India Tour

Avatar

The India tour of the Crown Prince has been a major talking point especially considering the multibillion-dollar deals that were sealed and the MOUs that were signed. Though the Crown Prince has left India almost a week ago, the menu of the lunch hosted by the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, only recently made its way to social media where it spread like wildfire. And, here’s what was inside it.

The lunch was held at the iconic Hyderabad House building in New Delhi and the food was an amazing mix of Arabian, Mughlai and Indian favourites.

Appealing to the taste of Arabian dignitaries there was an assortment of dates, sambousek and kabsa.

Yes, there really was kabsa.

There was even qahwa to accompany the dates because you know an Arabian wouldn’t like to have his dates without qahwa.

Amongst the Indian offerings, the ones that really stood out were the Roganjosh, Murgh Rasdaar and Zaatar Kesari Tikka – we feel like going to an Indian restaurant already.

Just reading the names of the desserts by those familiar with them will one’s mouth water.

Kesari Jalebi, Garam Gulab Jamun and Shahi Kulfi with Falooda – what an epic lineup!

We don’t have an idea of what the entire menu looked like because only the non-vegetarian menu trickled down to Twitter.

Earlier, the hors d’oeuvres menu from the lunch held by the Chinese authorities in Beijing made its way to social media as well. That was pretty epic too.
