Hajj Has Commenced And Pilgrims Are At The Mount Arafat Today
Hajj pilgrims arrived at Mount Arafat early Monday morning, during strict COVID measures.
Pilgrims will pray Duhr and Asr and also attend the Hajj sermon on this important day
These rituals follow the steps of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who delivered his last sermon on the ninth of the same month 10 years after he migrated from Makkah to Madinah.

A total of 60,000 vaccinated residents of Saudi Arabia are performing Hajj this year – out of 558,000 applicants.
Hajj lasts for five days.

The Health Ministry said Saudi Arabia is registering between 1,000 and 1,200 daily COVID-19 cases.
It is posting similar numbers of daily recoveries.
