Hajj Just Got Cheaper For Saudi Residents

Avatar

Hajj being one of the five pillars of Islam is mandatory for one who can afford it. Thanks to this new measure by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah thousands of people who earlier couldn’t afford the annual pilgrimage now can.

When a resident of Saudi, citizen or expat registers on the Hajj and Umrah portal they are shown three options general, facilitated and the low-cost.

According to the Saudi Gazette, a fourth option will be made available starting this year that will be cheaper than the other three categories.

The online portal for the upcoming hajj’s registrations will open on the 15th of Ramadan, so you better be checking online regularly when it does as slots for the lower cost ones normally fill up the fastest.
