If You Haven’t Visited Jeddah’s Sculpture Museum Yet Then You Are Seriously Missing Out On A Lot

Avatar

Jeddah is becoming an art hub of sorts and this open-air museum does justice to the cause. The sculpture museum is a reminder of Jeddah’s passion for the arts in the 70s and houses some of its most famous sculptures all in one place.

These sculptures once dotted different parts of the city but during expansion works of their surroundings, they had to be shifted and luckily for us they are all now in one place right by the corniche. So if you are an art lover and happen to visit Jeddah anytime soon then you better make it a point to visit this place.

It opened back in 2013 to acclaim from the local art community.

Before being installed in the open-air museum all sculptures went through extensive restoration works that saw them being restored to their former glory.

The sculpture museum is one of Jeddah’s lesser known tourist spots so chances are that you will have the place to yourself.
