Commuters on Falasteen Street in Jeddah get to see Jeddah’s once iconic structure called the Jeddah Dome in a deteriorated state. In fact, most of us have gotten used to seeing it that way as it has been shuttered for about 40 years.
But that is set to change soon thanks to the Minister of Culture Prince Badr Al Saud. Jeddah Dome would be renovated and reopened in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs.

The Saudi Gazette reported that the Jeddah Dome was built in the 70s and functioned as the country’s first art gallery.
