The only question that everyone had over the weekend was, “Where are you watching the match?” With the big public screens that were initially installed on walkways and public parks removed, everyone’s searching for a nice new place to watch the match on the big screen. This list can help.
The Ascott hotel on Sary Street is lined with upscale eatries and cafes. That whole area has been transformed into a fan zone replete with a big screen (probably the biggest in the city at the moment). You better hurry, as there’s not much space here and the seats fill out fast.

The place is a celebration of the World Cup and is even home to a World Cup museum filled with goodies from previous World Cups, including a football that dates back to the very first one held in 1930. You do have to buy tickets to enter, though.

A fan zone by Adidas has been set up in the sprawling courtyard of Jeddah Park. The vibe is just ah-mazing, almost as if you were at the stadium watching it live. Deffo one of the best places to catch the game. It’s almost always full, so you know you better get to it ASAP if you’re planning to watch it here.

The best thing about the place is that it’s one of the few places in the city where you can get great food and get to watch the match too. The final is taking place at dinner time anyway, so what better place to enjoy it than a restaurant that has a rep for serving some of the best Yemeni cuisine in the city? Aim for those rooftop terrace seats.
