Avatar

When Riyadh Season is in full flow you know you’ll always have lots to do. There’s a zillion ways you could spend this weekend and here are some of the best that will help you make the most of it.

1. Dinner At Riyadh Sky

One of the newest entrants (zones) to Riyadh Season is Riyadh Sky. It’s basically a cluster of three restaurants (Anghami Lab, Clap and Hellenika) that sit atop three of the capital’s landmarks. They promise great food, great views and a dining experience that’s unmatched. You better hurry though as these pop-up restaurants will only be available till Friday December 30.

2. Let Kids Be Kids At The Riyadh Toy Festival

While there is a lot of businesses here that doesn’t take it one bit for the kids though as they do have interactive shows that the little ones will absolutely love in addition to the number of activities they get to partake in. You’ll definitely have a tough time pulling your kids out of the place once you’re in.

3. Experience The Future At The Line Exhibition

The Line is probably the most talked about project within NEOM as it sets about on a path to redefine urban living on a scale that’s never even heard before. To show you what life in the place would actually be like the authorities have set up a travelling exhibition dedicated to it. The exhibition is currently in Riyadh and this is your chance to see what living in The Line would be like. It might as well just convince you to ditch any place you’re living in and head to it straight when it opens.

4. Watch Abdullah Al-Ruwaishid Sing Live

Renowned folk singer Abdullah Al-Ruwaishid will be headlining a concert taking place tonight at the Mohammed Abdo Arena. He’ll be accompanied by a group of great vocalists for an unforgettable night.

5. Get To Know Saudi History At At-Turaif

After undergoing a large repair effort, At-Turaif reopened to the public earlier this month, and the wait was well worth it. It boasts about a half-dozen museums that will guide you through the city’s history, has one of the finest dining venues in the country in the form of the Bujairi Terrace and has already played host to a number of celebrities that have visited Riyadh including DJ Khaled and Dominic Thiem. You will have to buy a ticket to enter though that’s priced at SR100 for weekdays and SR200 for weekends.
