Abha is THE place to be this summer, if you’re looking to run away from the heat and enjoy a mountain hike and forest views. It is located in the Aseer province of the Kingdom and is located around 80 km east of the Red Sea and 850 km southwest of Riyadh. The area is surrounded by green hills and mountains that consist of tropical forests, streams, and beautiful gardens. The temperature ranges from 12 degrees Celcius to 28 in the peak afternoon of May and June. The peak rainy season ends with May, so head on over ASAP with your cameras!

The Jacaranda Trees are the famous talk of the season when it comes to Abha’s natural beauty.

This ‘Hanging Village’ is also a famous spot in the region, which is known to feature beautiful ancient architecture.

The whole area is painted purple wth over 14,000 Jacaranda Trees!
