A Brit Who Set Off On Foot From The UK For Hajj Last Year Has Finally Reached Makkah

In August 2021, Adam Muhammad set off on foot from the UK to go on the Hajj. The British man of Iraqi descent has been travelling with a stray dog that began following him from Serbia and a three-wheeled cart.

Videos of him in Makkah have spread like wildfire since he arrived here.

The self-employed electrical engineer set off from his hometown Wolverhampton in the UK on Aug. 1. It was at that time that he setup a GoFundMe page to raise money for his “Peace Journey from UK to Makkah” campaign.

The campaign was a big success, and he ultimately raised more than £30,000, much exceeding his modest $1,000 goal.

Muhammad passed through several countries of Europe, before crossing Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan before finally entering Saudi Arabia.

They were a lot of people who assisted him on his journey including a father-son duo who flew all the way from the Netherlands to assist Muhammad while he was passing through Turkey.
