Hajj comes around only once a year and muslims all over the year prepare for the religious pilgrimage months and sometimes even years before. The month varies each year on the Gregorian calendar, and Hajj 2023 is from June 26 to July 1. People travel via road, airplane, and even on foot! A man from Kerala, India actually took a whole twelve months to cover more than 8 thousand kilometers on foot to make it to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season.
