A Saudi Man Has Been Arrested For Taking A Non-Muslim Journalist Inside Makkah
Journalist Gil Tamary who holds an American passport works for Israel’s Channel 13. He posted a video of himself sneaking into Makkah a couple of days ago in which one could see him crossing the Haram boundary and scaling Mount Arafat.
Tamary’s actions were widely criticised online when the video went public.
A Saudi national was detained and has reportedly been reported to the Public Prosecution for helping the journalist slip into Makkah, according to the Arab News.
The authorities have tweeted this confirming the arrest.
