The Music Authority organized a concert at the Hall du Châtelet in Paris, named the Masterpieces of Saudi Music. The concert featured  the Saudi National Ensemble, the choir and the French Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Saudi National Ensemble is the first Arab participation in the history of the Châtelet Theater with a combined performance between a Saudi Arab troupe and a French orchestra

The Philharmonic Orchestra, along with 22 musicians and 40 singers from the Saudi National Band performed center stage at the event. The two groups presented a joint musical show by playing and singing a medley of Saudi songs. The National Band also performed a solo of Saudi songs for different traditional music styles such as Al Majrour, Al Mizmar, Al Samari and others.
