A Saudi Prince Donates SR 1.9 Million To Save The Life Of A Man

Avatar

A man in Saudi Arabia was all set to lose his life after being convicted of murder a couple of years ago. In a desperate bid to save his life, the man’s mother ran a campaign to raise the required funds of SR5 million as blood money. She was, however, short of SR 1.9 million.

And that’s when Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd, the son of the late King Fahd, intervened and paid the amount left.

This helped in effectively renouncing the convict’s execution.

This compassionate act by Prince Abdul Aziz garnered significant praise on social media. Prince Abdul Aziz has always been known for his magnanimity, he is known to have previously contributed to iftar meals during Ramadan at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.

Additionally, in 2021, according to a report in the Gulf News, Prince Abdul Aziz extended his generosity to a fellow Saudi compatriot who survived a car accident that claimed the life of a popular YouTuber.

As a gesture of goodwill, he gifted the survivor a Nissan 4×4 vehicle. Furthermore, the prince pledged to settle the debts amounting to SR 300,000 owed by the YouTuber, who was injured along with his wife and two daughters in the same crash.
