Located in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia, the village dates back more than 900 years and has the most beautiful architecture. The clay-like buildings make the village look like gingerbread houses straight out of a movie. The United Nations World Tourism Organization included this beautiful village among their list of most beautiful villages, and praised the region for it’s unique culture.

The region is also famous for it’s Flower Men, who are known to wear flowers on their heads and dress in wrapped-skirts, different from common cultural clothing of the cities

Rijal Alma’s literal translation is  “the brightest men”, which evidently is inspired by their unique clothing. The village was once an ancient trade network that linked Yemen, Makkah and Madinah.
