Airlines Operating To Saudi Are Offering Quarantine Packages And Here’s How Much They Cost

Avatar

With the travel ban set to be lifted on Dec.1, travelers coming from Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, Vietnam, Egypt and India would be free to travel straight to the kingdom instead of having to stop in another country for 14 days as was previously required. However, they have to spend 5 days under institutional quarantine after their arrival. That’s where our airlines have stepped in, selling travelers “quarantine packages.”

Coming straight to the packages offered by Saudia and Flynas, they include the following:

  1. 4 nights and 5 days stay at a hotel
  2. Transfer from the airport to the hotel
  3. Two PCR tests
  4. Full board meal plans

These packages do not include airfare in them.

In terms of hotels, you may choose between 3, 4, and 5-star hotels, with the rates rising as the number of stars increases. The lowest stay on the Flynas website is in Jeddah, with packages starting at SAR 1,730 for a 3-star hotel. Riyadhis will have to shell out a bit more as their packages start at SAR 2,435.

Saudia has even cheaper packages with 3-star hotel stays starting at SAR1,714 in Jeddah and SAR2,131 in Riyadh. There are packages also for Dammam and Madinah on the Saudi website you can view them here.
