An Airline Accidentally Flew A Pet Dog To Saudi Instead Of The US

Madison and James Miller were flying to Nashville, USA, from London’s Heathrow airport. According to the South China Morning Post, their pet dog was supposed to be on their flight but ended up on a flight to Saudi Arabia instead.

British Airways supposedly put the dog on the wrong flight, and it ended up over 7,000 miles away from its intended destination.

“It was hell on earth,” said Madison. “She’s family. The absolute horror that I felt, I can’t put it into words. I was so worried she was going to die in transit or I’d never be able to find her again.”

After landing in Riyadh, the dog was then sent back to Heathrow and from there to Nashville.

The five-year-old dog ended up spending over 60 hours in cargo and is apparently suffering from long-lasting trauma. The dog is currently on anxiety medication three times a day, and the couple is working with a US$3,000 behaviourist to bring her back to health.
She added, “But we don’t know if she’ll ever be the same. It’s breaking our hearts.”
