This desert dream weaves an 800-mile journey from Riyadh to a place called Qurayyat right up in the country’s north. You’ll be passing through sites like Ha’il and Al Jouf’s nature reserve.

Passengers will get to choose between a one or two-night escape on the luxe train.

According to local media reports, the train is being brought in by Saudi Arabian Railways in collaboration with Italy’s Arsenale Group. On the train, expect 40 plush carriages, a fancy restaurant, a chill lounge bar, and interiors inspired by Saudi tradition.

The Dream of the Desert is set to swing into action by late 2025. But here’s the good part: reservations are expected to open later this year! That means you can start planning your epic “dream” soon!
