ATTN! Saudi Citizens Can Now Travel To Singapore Visa-Free

Avatar

Come June 1, Saudis can just book a flight to Singapore on Google and head straight for the airport, as Singapore has just exempted Saudi citizens from entry visa requirements.

The announcement was made by the Singaporean Embassy in Riyadh. It’s still not clear how many days Saudi citizens will be allowed entry at a stretch.

However, there’s a catch—the embassy has announced on its Twitter handle that all those who have paid for their visa processing fees prior to the announcement will not be eligible for a refund.

This comes just weeks after another Asian country, Japan, started allowing Saudis to apply for tourist visas online.

As per the online portal Visa Index, the Saudi passport currently provides visa-free access to 81 countries.
