General Sports Authority Celebrates Saudi National Football Team For Advancing to 2020 Tokyo Olympics

General Sports Authority celebrated the Saudi national team for advancing to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics at the AFC U-23 in the presence of Chairman of the General Sports Authority, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal.

The celebration took place yesterday after the arrival of the national team from Bangkok at the green hall in King Faisal Bin Fahad complex in Riyadh.

Fair Play Award At AFC U-23 ?

Saudi national team advanced to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after clinching the silver medal and fair play award at the AFC U-23 championship.

The Saudi National team stood in the lead of their group after their triumph over Japan and Syria and their draw with Qatar.

Our national team succeeded to beat Thailand’s team at the quarter-final and Uzbekistan at the semifinals. Meanwhile, they were defeated 0 -1 by the Korea Republic team at the final match on Sunday.
