Google is actually celebrating what would have been the poet’s 90th birthday, but he unfortunately passed away in Damascus back in 2004. Abdul Rahman was the author of 15 novels, including the Mudun al-Milh, Al-Nihayat, Sharq al-Mutawassit, and Ard Al-Sawad.
