If you’ve ever experienced Hajj in the sweltering summer heat, here’s some refreshing news…
This year marks the last summer Hajj season for the next 25 years!
According to Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesperson for the National Center for Meteorology (NCM), the shift is all thanks to the lunar calendar — which moves the Hajj season back by about 10 days each year. That means the timing of Hajj naturally rotates through the seasons.
This seasonal shift brings a much-welcomed break for millions of pilgrims, offering cooler, more comfortable conditions during their sacred journey.
Moral of the story: Pack light layers — and enjoy the breeze while it lasts!
