On Friday, August 30, the holy city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, experienced torrential rains that led to severe flooding, sweeping away several vehicles.

Social media was flooded with videos showcasing the widespread damage, with rainwater submerging many cars and carrying others away


Reports indicate that the Kingdom’s Cloud Seeding Project yielded immediate results, bringing rainfall to multiple regions across the country. Both Makkah and Madinah have experienced heavy downpours over the past week.
