Here Are 7 Pictures Of Hajj Over The Years In Saudi Arabia
It’s currently Hajj season in the Kingdom and thousands of people have made their way to Makkah and Medinah for the offcial pilgrimage
Due to COVID-19 surges over the years, Saudi witnessed the highest amount of visitors this year since the outbreak. One million people, with 850,000 from abroad, have made their way to the holy cities for Hajj this year. Right before the pandemic, the Kingdom welcomed 2.5 million visitors in 2019, only 1,000 visitors in 2020, and a slight increase of 60,000 vaccinated citizens and residents in 2021. This means this season has welcomed the most pilgrims since 2019 this year.
As this month is quite significant in the Kingdom, here are seven pictures that take you through a journey of Hajjj over the years
