Here’s All You Need To Prepare For Gergean Celebrations
The Gergean celebrations are a traditional festival days celebrated in some Arab countries, particularly in the Gulf region, during the holy month of Ramadan. These celebrations are usually held on the 13th, 14th, or 15th day of Ramadan, and people usually dress up during them in colorful traditional clothing and gather in the streets to sing, dance, and exchange gifts. Children often carry special lanterns known as “Fanous” and go door-to-door to receive sweets and other treats.
