The Kingdom is hosting the Dakar Rally race for the fourth time this year which kicked off earlier this month. The famous race made its way to the vast valleys and deserts of the Kingdom in a 2-week competition. The rally started at the Red Sea camp as hundreds raced their way to Dammam. From the bumpy dunes in the Empty Quarter, to the harsh winds of Hail, these racers really fought their way through the Kingdom. 👏

Saudi locals in and around the area always came to promptly assist racers during difficulties, showing the true hospitality of the Kingdom’s community

This racer unfortunately flipped their car during a harsh turn in the desert dunes, to which the people nearby INSTANTLY ran to assist the driver out of the car 🙌.

This Saudi man was applauded by the masses for his instant action to get this car out of the desert sand. The racers and spectators of Dakar Rally cheered on the hero of the race, and thanked him for his prompt assistance.

Aside from the hospitable values of the Kingdom, Saudi is also known to be a huge fan of modifying cars, and got to show it off! This young Saudi man had modified his Toyota Hilux in the most unique way, which totally shocked the Dakar Rally contestants 😱

Its been monsoon season around the Kingdom, and this current in the desert halted these racers from crossing the path. However, help was always at their fingertips as the contestants got out promptly, and caught up to the race.

Saudis are a big fan of coffee as it holds significant value in their culture and social settings. This video went viral of a Qatari man, Nasser bin Saleh Al-Attiyah, calling Saudi’s and Dakar Rally racers to stop and have a coffee with him. And they did! 🙌
