After the recent passing of the former key holder, Sheikh Saleh Al Shaiba, officials have handed over the keys to the new chief, and eldest in the family. 🕋

Abdul Wahab bin Zain Al Abdin Al Shaibi is the new official key holder of the Holy Kaaba


The new chief’s first official task will be to hand over the Kiswah to place on the Kaaba on the 1st of Muharram. Sheikh Abdul Wahab welcomed the new role by stating, “May God grant me success in carrying out this duty under the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince.”
