We adore the charismatic kings and queens of the Netflix show Dubai Bling, and were very excited as the 2nd season’s trailer hinted at their visit to Alula! Surprisingly, they only managed to embark on three of the countless adventures available in this beautiful destination.

In episode 2, ‘Don’t Mess with the Besties,’ we join LO (Lojain Omran) as she leads the ‘Team Left,’ as DJ Bliss affectionately calls them, on a captivating helicopter tour to explore the breathtaking beauty of AlUla.

Instantly enamored with the scenery, Ferhana described the view as nothing short of magical ✨, while LJ (Lojain Adada) shared that she felt transported to the enchanting landscapes of planet Mars! Ebraheem, on the other hand, expressed feeling the profound power of history as he soaked in the awe-inspiring views.

Regrettably, they missed out on exploring some of the most picturesque places Alula has to offer. Notable among these are Aljadidah Arts District, hailed as Alula’s vibrant creative hub, the ancient Hegra tombs carved from desert rock, the Old Town, and numerous other remarkable monuments and locations. Despite the captivating beauty surrounding them, a bit of drama managed to find its way into their experience 👀

Now, let’s delve into the numerous adventures they undertook and, unfortunately, missed out on. Beginning with the exhilarating helicopter tour, as mentioned earlier, which they thoroughly enjoyed. In episode 3, ‘To Tea, or Not to Tea?’ they ventured into ziplining, a thrilling experience, but it marked the end of their visit.

While there were numerous mountain experiences to choose from, they only indulged in the thrill of ziplining. Unfortunately, they missed out on the opportunity to climb or abseil down the majestic mountains, explore the terrains through guided biking or hiking, and witness the true beauty of Alula from the skies in a hot air balloon, all of which adds to the rich tapestry of mountain adventures.

Let’s not forget about the Hegra Land Rover tour and the scenic Ridge Walk. Although Mona Kattan wasn’t part of this trip, we imagine she would have adored the Arabian Aroma activity, given her ownership of the perfume line ‘KAYALI.’ Other noteworthy experiences include Clay and Cardamom, Eco Gardening, and the list goes on. Alula offers a diverse array of activities, ensuring there’s always something new and exciting to explore.
