HRH Khalid Al Faisal Was So Moved By A Poem He Refused To Hear It

HRH Khalid Al-Faisal, the governor of Mekkah province, welcomed the poet, Saleh AL-Subaiey, after refusing to hear his poem in a crowded majlis during his visit to Al-khurma province.

Prince Khalid had refused to hear this poem because reciting poems was banned during his Majlis earlier as most of the poems are praising him, which he does not prefer.

AL-Subaiey explained later on his Twitter account that he is honored to receive two presents from Prince Khalid. He showed off the presents; The first was poetry Diwan and the second was a gold gift bearing the name and signature of the prince.
