To get a visa to Saudi Arabia, Indian citizens had earlier had to obtain a police clearance certificate. That requirement has been scrapped now, as per an announcement by the Kingdom’s embassy in India.
The decision, it continued, was made in light of the efforts being made by the two nations to fortify their ties as well as “the strong relations and strategic partnership” between India and the kingdom.
