Social media is flooded with tributes for Saudi nurse, Khaled Al-Husseini who died from COVID-19.

Khaled was working as a nurse on the front line in Mecca, one of The Kingdom’s worst-affected cities.

The Governor of Mecca paid tribute to the father of one, who was working at the King Abdul Aziz Hospital. He was 43-years-old and battling the virus for a month before he passed. His name was trending on social media with both officials, colleagues, and Twitter users sharing their condolences.

The tag #nurseKhaledAlHusseini was trending across Saudi

A colleague praised his work on Twitter

“I worked with him for many years, he always began the prayer, and he initated us to do it. He was the first to come to work and the last to leave. He looked at his work like it was worship. Everyone enjoyed working with him because they knew he was never late and was never absent.”

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time.
