According to the Saudi Press Agency, the program will be active in New Delhi and Kerala until July 26, focusing on enhancing Arabic language education, improving teaching standards, and fostering a positive perception of the language.
Aligned with the Human Capability Development Program under Saudi Vision 2030, the initiative aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s global outreach in Arabic language education. Secretary-General Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi highlighted the academy’s commitment to implementing strategic directives from Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Saudi minister of culture.
“This program underscores our efforts to educate non-native speakers in Arabic, showcasing the Kingdom’s leadership in advancing Arabic language and its sciences worldwide,” stated Al-Washmi. The academy’s comprehensive approach includes teacher training initiatives to enhance their skills and competencies in teaching Arabic effectively.
The launch of Arabic Language Month not only seeks to expand linguistic horizons but also to deepen cultural understanding between Saudi Arabia and India. It serves as a platform to celebrate linguistic diversity and promote mutual learning opportunities between the two nations.
