As part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, King Salman has directed the hosting of an additional 1,000 family members of Palestinians affected by the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
This order follows a similar directive issued in May, also for 1,000 family members of Palestinian victims of the violence in Gaza. Consequently, a total of 2,000 Palestinians will be hosted for this year’s Hajj.
The initiative is overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, and aims to support those affected by the conflict by offering them the opportunity to perform Hajj.
Since its inception 26 years ago, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah has hosted over 60,000 pilgrims, demonstrating Saudi Arabia’s commitment to aiding those in need.
