Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has ordered the hosting of 2,322 Hajj pilgrims from around the world!
This includes 1,300 pilgrims from over 88 countries, 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and wounded Palestinians, and 22 pilgrims from families of conjoined twins who underwent successful surgical separation in the Kingdom.
This comes as part of the Guests Program that has been in place for years
This initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance. Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this generous gesture. He emphasized that this reflects their commitment to the care of Islam and Muslims worldwide, fostering unity and brotherhood among the guests during Hajj, facilitated by the ministry’s comprehensive services in Makkah and Madinah.
Elaborate preparations are in place to ensure the pilgrims have a smooth journey
Minister Al-Sheikh highlighted that this hosting underscores the Kingdom’s leadership in serving Islam and Muslims. He noted the strategic preparations made by the ministry to ensure the guests’ smooth journey from their home countries to the Kingdom. The ministry’s committees are tasked with ensuring the guests can perform their Umrah and Hajj rituals comfortably and visit Madinah to pray at the Prophet’s Mosque.
The program was first introduced more than 26 years ago!
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit has hosted over 60,000 pilgrims since its inception more than 26 years ago. This longstanding program continues to demonstrate Saudi Arabia’s dedication to supporting and uniting Muslims globally.
