The average life expectancy in Saudi has risen to 77.6 years!

The Saudi Ministry of Health’s annual Health Sector Transformation Program report for 2023 showcases remarkable progress towards Vision 2030 goals, highlighting the collaborative efforts to improve public health.

A key achievement in the report is the increase in average life expectancy in Saudi Arabia, now at 77.6 years. This positive change is due to several health initiatives, such as promoting a walking culture, reducing salt in foods, disclosing calorie information, and eliminating trans fats. Efforts to improve healthcare services and prevent health risks have also played a significant role.

Hospital and patient satisfaction has also risen which contributed to the achievement

The average life expectancy in Saudi has risen to 77.6 years! 

The report also notes a rise in patient satisfaction with hospital inpatient services, from 82.41% in 2019 to 87.45%. Additionally, the number of qualified nursing staff per 100,000 people increased from 581.6 in 2019 to 733. Basic healthcare service coverage in residential areas, including remote regions, has reached an impressive 96.41%.

These accomplishments reflect Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing healthcare access, service quality, and health safety measures, contributing to the overall well-being of its population.
