Madinah’s Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif Access Limited To Yearly 10-Minute Visits

Worshipers can now only spend 10 minutes inside Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, as visits have been limited to yearly permits. These rules are set by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

If visitors can’t make their scheduled visit, all must cancel the permit ASAP to let others have a chance

If you don’t cancel, you’ll have to wait a full year for another appointment. You must agree to these rules when getting your permit through the Nusuk app. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time and confirm your presence in the Haram half an hour before. The barcode on your permit can only be used once, and you must show it at the gate to enter.
