Makkah’s Grand Mosque Is Known To Get Sparkling Clean In Just 35 Minutes!

Ever seen those videos of Makkah’s cleaning crew RUSHING through the crowds with their wipers? Well that’s all for good reason guys.

You won’t believe it, but the Grand Mosque in Makkah gets the total clean-up in just 35 minutes, and NO, that’s not a typo! The cleaning crew makes sure everything stays spotless while keeping things smooth for the pilgrims!

Here’s how they pull it off:

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque has 3,500 cleaners, both male and female, working non-stop!!

They’ve got their hands on 12 special washing machines and 679 cleaning machines to make sure no corner is left behind.

And when it comes to waste? Well, get this: they’ve got 3,000+ waste containers scattered around, and they collect 70 tons of waste every day, that even jumps to 100 tons during peak times. But don’t worry, it’s all done with the environment in mind.

To keep things extra clean and sustainable, they ONLY use eco-friendly products!

And guess what? All this magic happens 24/7—without getting in the way of worshippers. The goal? To keep the mosque’s vibes pure, giving guests the space to pray and reflect in peace and comfort.
