As millions of worshippers flock to Makkah during Ramadan, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has introduced six key prohibitions at the Grand Mosque to enhance security, comfort, and organization for pilgrims performing Umrah.
Additionally, collecting donations within the mosque premises is strictly forbidden. To maintain order in the courtyards, the use of motorcycles and bicycles in surrounding areas is also prohibited.

Worshippers are encouraged to use public transport options, including shuttle buses and the Haramain High-Speed Train, while designated parking areas have been established inside and outside Makkah.
A digital guidance system has also been introduced, providing real-time updates on available areas for Tawaf and designated pathways. Directional signs have been placed at all major entrances, making navigation easier for visitors.
