MBS Discussed Saudi’s Stance In Standing Up For Palestinians On First-Ever Call With Iranian President Ebrahim Rais

MBS received a call from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi for the first time since both countries reconciliation this March. The Saudi Press Agency reported that the Saudi Crown Prince discussed the Kingdom’s commitment towards humanitarian rights and communicating with all international parties to stop the ongoing escalation.

MBS also expressed the Kingdom’s firm position towards supporting the Palestinian cause

The Saudi leader also emphasized on  the importance of respecting the principles of international humanitarian law, expressing concern about the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip and the impact on Palestinian citizens.

The Gaza strip was recently struck with attacks from Israel killing over 1,000 people

As stated by the United Nations, more than 250,000 people in Gaza have fled their homes, and have crowded into schools run by the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees. Israel also recently cut off food, water, and electricity supplies for the region, as military attacks continue.
