The recent rains in Saudi Arabia have made Wadi al-Rummah a playground for adventurers! Wadi Rummah is a very long river valley, albeit dry most of the time, but the recent rains have changed that. And a lake has formed in a part of the valley that passes through Qassim, and it’s turning into quite a tourist spot. P

People are even riding jet skis here. Talk about having summer fun after the winter rains!

It’s turned into a full-blown tourist spot with horseback riding, kitesurfing, and makeshift street food stalls.

As per a local media report, this isn’t the first time that this lake has formed here. It apparently overflowed three times before this in the past 100 years.

For those who have yet to visit, it’s time to make the most of Wadi Al-Rummah’s temporary lake before the sun and heat return. After all, when will there be another chance to experience this kind of rare, fleeting joy?
