In the 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards, four major airports across the Kingdom earned top honors—marking another exciting leap for Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving aviation sector.

Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport made the biggest splash, landing at #24 on the list of the World’s Top 100 Airports

It also claimed titles for Best Airport Staff in the Middle East, 3rd Best New Terminal Globally, and ranked 4th worldwide in the 30–40 million passenger category. It now stands among the top 5 airports in the Middle East.

King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah also rose in the ranks, taking 44th place globally, receiving a 4-star Skytrax rating, and earning the #5 spot in the Middle East.

In the regional category, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah shined as the Best Regional Airport in the Middle East, while King Fahd International Airport in Dammam came in 2nd Best Regional Airport and 8th in the Middle East overall.

These awards reflect the Kingdom’s significant strides in airport development, driven by MATARAT Holding, which manages 27 airports through regional subsidiaries
