In just over two months since its launch, Riyadh Metro has transported more than 18 million passengers, marking a major milestone in the capital’s public transport revolution

According to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the six-line network has completed over 162,000 trips, covering an impressive 4.5 million km. The Blue Line, running parallel to Olaya Street, has emerged as the busiest, with nearly 10 million riders. The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) station alone recorded over 3 million passengers, making it the most popular stop.

Spanning 176 km with 85 strategically placed stations, the Riyadh Metro is designed to ease congestion and reduce carbon emissions
