Fans all over the country have been waiting for Ronaldo to make his official debut as an Al Nassr player. However, a certain issue regarding a FIFA rule has been bought to attention, causing the player to delay the debut.

Cristiano will have to sit out the next two games of Al Nassr due to a FIFA rule

The star player was set to go up against Al-Ta’ee and Al-Shabab, after his iconic presentation ceremony this week. All his eager fans were ready to see the star this Friday, as all 28,000 seats had sold out for the game against Al-Ta’ee. However, as reported by the Daily Mail, due to a hefty fine of £50,000, and a two-match ban, Ronaldo will have to sit out the two upcoming games.

The player was found guilty of improper conduct by the English Football Association  back in November

A few days before his Manchester United contract was terminated, Ronaldo was fined for smashing a phone out of an Everton fan’s hand. Unable to serve the suspension, Ronaldo’s Manchester United contract was then torn up. Although the player apologized for this mishap, Ronaldo is still obliged to sit out his debut matches.

Ronaldo will now be making his debut in a match against Ettifaq on January 21
