Saudi Ambassador To The UK Reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s Zero-Tolerance On Alcohol For World Cup

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud, recently addressed the nation’s strict zero-tolerance policy on alcohol. He emphasized that this policy will remain firmly in place during the 2034 FIFA World Cup, which Saudi Arabia is set to host.

Prince Khalid highlighted that, unlike previous tournaments where alcohol was available in select areas, Saudi Arabia’s cultural and legal standards prohibit the sale and consumption of alcohol.

He reassured fans that they can still enjoy the World Cup experience without alcohol, encouraging visitors to respect the country’s traditions and laws

Saudi Arabia recently won the bid to host the FIFA 2034 World Cup, and works are underway. Just like Qatar, Saudi Arabia is sticking to its zero-tolerance policy on alcohol during the matches, staying true to its laws and cultural traditions.
